AN END AND A BEGINNING // Week 33
I finished Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I'm working on a full length review, but here's what I had to say when I finished it:
I read Made You Up by Francesca Zappia. Is this a problematic portrayal of schizophrenia? I have no idea. Am I a sucker for an unreliable narrator? Absolutely.
I read Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick. I always got the impression that I would like Anna Kendrick if I met her IRL, and reading her memoir had confirmed that for me. She has a lot of really relatable things to say about imposter syndrome and why it's okay not to be nice.
I finished the third season of You're The Worst. It gave me feelings that Jimmy and Gretchen would avoid.
I got back to bullet journaling in preparation for my return to work next week! *dun dunn dunnn*
I don't know what happened to my summer, but I'm excited that it's over. It's an end of sorts, and I'm excited (and nauseous) about a new beginning. I reserve the right to change my mind about this sometime in the next few days. See you next week!
