The Sutter Lake series by Catherine Cowles made for a fantastic “beach read” during a week where I didn’t have a lot of brain space to devote to anything and wanted a distraction. Here’s some snippets about teach of the books along with which ones were my faves: ✨Beautifully Broken Pieces follows Taylor and Walker, a teacher and police officer navigating grief. ✨Beautifully Broken Life follows Tessa and Liam —he’s a rockstar and she’s a baker both hiding from their lives in different ways. ✨✨Beautifully Broken Spirit follows Jensen and Tucker, childhood friends to lovers — one of my favorites of the series! She’s a single mom, he’s her brother’s best friend. ✨Beautifully Broken Control follows Kennedy and Cain and deals with navigating grief, wealth and privilege. ✨✨Beautifully Broken Redemption follows Anna and Mason, who wind up in a marriage of convenience to protect her niece and nephew! My second favorite of the series.
