Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason was my first read of 2023, and I told someone that I’d be thinking about it all year — and I was right. I’ve been searching for a copy and only recently acquired it, after rereading the book and being reminded exactly why it’s one of my favorites of the year. I have a more detailed review many posts back on my feed if you’d like to seek it out; otherwise, just know that if reading about mental illness isn’t a deal breaker for you, I wholeheartedly recommend picking this one up.
