Library Book Haul
| Grief is the Thing with Feathers by Max Porter | Reader, I Married Him Edited by Tracy Chevalier |
Beneath the Bonfire by Nickolas Butler | Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye | Humans of New York by Brandon Stanton |
Two of my holds came in, so I stopped by my library to pick them up. I also picked up two more books, and renewed the ones I already had at home. I can't explain myself.
Finished: Grief is the Thing with Feathers. Weird. Wonderful. I will have more to say soon.
Working on: Reader, I Married Him STILL (see my last library haul) because I am stubborn and hate to DNF a book once I have spent this much time reading it. Humans of New York, because I wanted to see if it would make an excellent coffee table book. It would.
TBR: Beneath the Bonfire, which I have checked out before and not read, so I better get to it this time. Jane Steele, because apparently Reader, I Married Him just isn't scratching the Jane Eyre itch.
Waiting on: The Girls, The Last One, and How to Set a Fire and Why. All on my hold list. All taking forever to become available.
I always check out far more books than I will actually read. It is a habit formed when I was at a young, impressionable age, and nothing can make me break it. NOTHING, I TELL YOU.
What are you reading this week?
