Happy belated Pub Day to Namesake by Adrienne Young! Thanks to @netgalley for an advance copy of this book for review. I’m glad that after reading Fable and Namesake so close together I immediately captured my thoughts for a review so I didn’t forget a thing...is what a smarter person would say. I am not that’s person. Nevertheless, I am super excited to talk about Namesake, the second (and final) book in this duology! Fable ended on quite the cliff hanger, and Namesake picks up right where Fable left off. I know that some readers struggled with the pacing of Fable, and I did find that Namesake moves more quickly, but still has the same atmospheric, romantic, adventurous vibes of the first book. I loved getting to delve into the relationships between these characters more fully as Fable works to unravel the mystery of her mother’s past, West’s secrets, and Saint’s plans. While I’m sad to have reached the end of this series, I really appreciated the pacing and that it wasn’t stretched out to make a trilogy just for the sake of $$$. Two books felt right. I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for other Adrienne Young books that might come my way! via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CMhUxbpLEjq/
