How the Dukes Stole Christmas is an anthology of stories by Tessa Dare, Sarah MacLean, Sophie Jordan, and Joanna Shupe. The novellas are seemingly unrelated, covering a variety of tropes from insta love to second chance romance to first impressions gone awry, but are tied together by Scottish shortbread biscuits with a little magic baked in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I enjoyed getting to revisit authors I’ve read in the past while also being introduced to new ones. The inclusion of the MacLean family shortbread recipe was a fun touch, and you can tell the authors had fun bringing these stories to life and pulling inspiration from some of their favorite tales; that fun definitely translates to the reader! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you have a favorite Christmas story or family recipe? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ID: A kindle displaying the ebook cover of How the Dukes Stole Christmas is sitting on a white shelf.
