How often do you cull your books? I know not everyone on bookstagram has shelves and shelves of books, but since I have a couple fantastic used bookstores near me, I do! I try to go through my books every year to clear my shelves of things I told myself I’d read but haven’t, or books I just don’t love or want to hang on to. And, let’s be honest, I need to make room for more books! Because of the pandemic, it’s been two years since I’ve done my culling. Here’s a stack of 30ish books I pulled from my shelves — I brought them to my used bookstore, which ended up taking most of them for around $40 in store credit! The rest will end up in Little Free Libraries, and I was able to make space on my shelves for the wild stacks of books growing around my house. 🤣 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ P.S: this pile definitely experienced an avalanche before I boxed them up and went absolutely everywhere lol ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ID: There’s two messy stacks of books piled on a hardwood floor, and white cube shelves filled with books behind them. There’s a TV on, on top of the shelves, but you can’t tell what I’m watching (it’s Ugly Delicious). via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/CXQ2UmfLPan/
