After reading and loving The Duke Who Didn’t earlier this year, I was excited to read more from Courtney Milan’s backlist and started with Unveiled! Unveiled follows Margaret and Ash, a couple with true enemies to lovers vibes except one of them doesn’t know the other is the enemy!!! It’s never explicitly stated due to the time period but Ash is dyslexic. Because Ash doesn’t read, he has learned to read people and trust his instincts, which means that he immediately decides HER and never questions that he and Margaret are right together — it’s not only dreamy but also the reason the whole plot works so well. -100 points for use of the word juices, however I will overlook it because I love this story. ✨tidbits: -bonkers secret identity/revenge plot -“You are important. You matter.” -The relationship between Ash and his brothers 🥺 Anyway Courtney Milan is proving to be a delight and even though I DNF’ed book two in the series because it was giving me the ick, I will definitely be picking up more from her!
