Kleypas is really trying to include all the dashing accented heroes in one series, isn’t she? First Welsh in Marrying Winterborne, then Irish in Hello Stranger, and now Scottish in Devil in Disguise! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Merritt, who has taken over her late husband’s shipping business, has an instant connection with whiskey distiller Keir, which is inconvenient, since someone keeps trying to kill him. I loved this story, especially the way their relationship developed and that the biggest conflicts were about external forces. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Merritt (who wins favorite character name of the series) is fierce and Keir is vulnerable and these two have my whole heart 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m truly sad to have reached the end of The Ravenels series and I absolutely cannot choose a favorite!
