Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver is a book I had high hopes for, after loving Silver’s first two series and being really disappointed by the first book in this one. While I did find myself enjoying Wild Eyes more than Wild Love, and while I do think it’s a stronger book, it was plagued by some of the same issues, like a bizarre opening scene that although completely different in topic, reminded me so much of the one I hated in book one. I’m beginning to think this series may not be for me. Will that stop me from continuing to hope, and from picking up book 3?
