I’m trying to catch up on reviews while I still somewhat remember what I’ve read, and that includes talking about Delicate Escape. I’ve since learned that I need to stop reading the sneak peek at the back of the previous book because I spent the first many pages going I SWEAR IVE READ THIS ONE except at the time I read it, it had just published a few days ago! This went on for an embarrassing number of pages. Book two in her latest series follows Thea and Shep; She’s on the run, he’s got a tortured past — what more can you ask for in a Catherine Cowles novel, I ask you?
