As my summer comes to an end, I’ve found myself gravitating toward comfort reads: books like The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, a beautiful, quiet, epistolary novel set in the aftermath of WWII. It’s one of my favorite books (and movies!) to reread/rewatch. Do you have any comfort reads? If so, I’d love to hear them! ID1: I’m holding up a paperback copy of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society with one hand. ID2: I’m holding the same book open to the stepback, which is a pull quote from the book: “I wonder how the book got to Guernsey? Perhaps there is some secret sort of homing instinct in books that brings them to their perfect readers.” via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/Cg1vzPYreTo/
