After reading and loving Lorraine Heath, I wanted more! Enter the Sins for all Seasons series. I gave each of the books three stars, and decided to do an all in one post, including the relevant tropes for each book. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This series is dark. The practice of baby farming is central to these characters stories and while these characters get their HEAs, the books deal with a series of difficult topics and situations. Ultimately it didn’t work for me, but I know there are many who might enjoy it. I much prefer her most recent series, which I gave all the stars! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Beyond Scandal and Desire Aslyn and Mick -class differences -revenge plot ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When a Duke Loves a Woman Gillie and Thorne -slow burn -caretaking scenes ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Scoundrel in Her Bed Finn and Lavinia -class differences -second chance romance ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Duchess in His Bed Aiden and Selena -widowed FMC -lessons in seduction-ish? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Earl Takes a Fancy Fancy and Matthew -bad first impression -mistaken identity ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Beauty Tempts the Beast Benedict and Althea -lessons in seduction ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PLEASE check content warnings for this series before picking it up! I’ve tried to include all the ones I can think of, but there may be others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ CW: grief/loss, death of a parent, death of children, gambling addiction, agoraphobia, sexual assault, child abandonment, pregnancy/childbirth, sexual content, drug use, imprisonment, adoption, poisoning, stroke, cancer, death of a spouse ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ID1: Three mass market paperbacks from the Sins of All Seasons series (left to right: When a Duke Loves a Woman, The Scoundrel in Her Bed, The Earl Takes a Fancy) lay on a bed of white tissue paper.
