The Earl Takes All by Lorraine Heath is over the top ridiculous and I ate up every minute of it!!! Identical twins Albert and Edward travel abroad for one last sojourn before Albert settles into married life. But after a tragic accident, Albert begs Edward to keep the truth of his death from his pregnant wife, for fear she will miscarry again. Edward must convince Julia that he is his brother — and in doing so, begins to fall for her. I loved the drama and angst of this book and the way in which Heath went about unfurling this storyline! There was a particular detail that brought everything together at the end in a way I found brilliant and unlike any other historical romance. I’ve read many hits and some misses from Lorraine Heath, and this book — a new favorite of hers — reminds me why I reach for her again and again. ID1: I’m holding up a mass market paperback copy of The Earl Takes All. ID2: I’m holding the same book open to reveal the stepback. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/Cppn4rvrvV-/
