Business Casual by BK Borison is the epitome of idiots to lovers. I truly wanted to (lovingly) knock these characters’ heads together because what do you mean you don’t want a relationship while simultaneously thinking the person you are going out of your way to spend time with and support is the best thing since sliced bread? What do you mean you’re just gonna get it out of your system? YA DINGDONGS. Nova and Charlie are hotttt and their golden retriever/black cat dynamic is so fun to watch. Nova has a great evolution as the youngest Porter sibling, but it’s Charlie’s story that really shines. He’s been a favorite since Lovelight Farms, and I’m so pleased with how Borison has done him justice. I, too, would like to be adopted by this family and the town, thank you. Business Casual is chock full of cameos from our faves as well as ADHD and migraine rep, and is a great conclusion to the Lovelight series. While I’m heartbroken it’s over, I know I can return to the books whenever I want.
