Change of Heart follows Whitney, a badass transplant surgeon whose idea of blowing off steam involves wedding crashing with her best friend; her one night stand with best man Henry comes back to haunt her when it turns out he’s a first year resident at her hospital. This book gave me SUCH Grey’s Anatomy season 1 vibes and I loved it. I want it adapted — I want a return of the romcom! This is my third Canterbary novel and I really enjoy how she develops her characters and storylines both inside and outside of the romance. Henry’s relationships with his fellow residents! Whitney’s relationships with Meri and Brie! But the romance is also romancing. He keeps a list of things that make her smile! She sleeps in his fleece! They have highly charged moments in elevators! “There you are.” Canterbary makes insta-love almost believable?!
