This is your reminder to buy books used and borrow them from the library! I bought this stack of books for less than the cost of one new book. I’m lucky enough to live near a massive used bookstore, but I’ve also found some great stuff at thrift stores and smaller used bookstores. I love never knowing what I’ll find when I browse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After recently reading and loving my third Lorraine Heath novel, I stumbled on a load of her books and picked up a bunch kindof indiscriminately. Someone was waiting on me, so I didn’t take the time to look up which books were part of which series, and I ended up with a mix! I’m definitely looking forward to starting the Sins for All Seasons series first, since many of the characters pop up in Heath’s Once Upon a Dukedom series. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I snagged a copy of The Last Debutantes, which I saw on a summer reading list somewhere recently and which my library didn’t have a copy of, as well as some nonfic (I’m especially excited about the biography of Margaret Walker, written by a local author!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love finding surprises in used books: in this haul I found bookmarks and receipts from area events and stores, signed copies, inscriptions, etc. I once found a plane ticket in my copy of Eating Animals - I wonder where that falls on the chaotic good/neutral/evil bookmark spectrum? via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/Ce6EmqoLXGc/
