The Beast of Beswick by Amalie Howard is a Beauty and the Beast/Taming of the Shrew inspired novel that follows Astrid, who seeks a marriage of convenience with Thane as a way of protecting herself and her sister from an even greater monster. We love a scarred hero and Thane is no exception, but the conflict dragged on a little too long for my liking, and the end wrapped up too quickly. The Wolf of Westmpre by Amalie Howard is a Romeo and Juliet/Little Red Riding Hood inspired novella that begins with the steamy auction scene from The Rakehell of Roth from Jocelyn and Wulfric’s POVs!l and goes from there! While I enjoyed getting to see each of these characters get their HEA’s, The Rakehell of Roth remains my favorite of the series by far!
