I really had to work through the “not like other girls”-ism I had when it came to the ACOTAR series, which I resisted reading for *so* long. After much encouragement by a friend who was also reading it, I finally picked it up, and really enjoyed having someone to triple text my reactions and predictions to while she mostly tried to be aloof so as not to give anything away. 10/10 recommend having a buddy reader for this experience. I already feel like a reread is in my future so that I can pick up on some of the things I may have missed in my first read through, especially when it comes to plot — maybe before the next book comes out??
