If one of Jasmine Guillory's books was going to be adapted into a movie - this is the one! 1 jumbotron + 1 ill fated proposal + 1 rescue = a recipe for rom-com success. Each of Guillory's books can be read individually or as part of a series, and it was fun to get to revisit characters we already knew from The Wedding Date (however peripherally). I loved Nik and Carlos' dynamic so much. I loved how the book centers around family and food.
