It's me, getting my week 27 wrap up in under the wire. Something I'm thinking about: a not so fun life thing has come up in the last few days, and the physical and emotional toll had me feeling like this week was a wash. But when I thought about it, I realized that actually, most of this week was good! I finished two fantastic books (Dig and Party of Two), watched Hamilton, and talked to two of my good friends. And still, I kept putting off this post, because it was the bad thing that stuck. So much of this year has been about reframing our thinking, and my feelings about this week are a really good example of that. We can choose to focus on the uncertainty, on the toll this is taking on us, on the things we've had to miss out on - or we can focus on the things (and people) that have made this time bearable for us.
