Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart by Sarah MacLean is the third and final book in the Love by Numbers series. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After meeting Julianna in the first book, I had no doubt that her story would be full of craziness, and I was right! She comes out of the gate swinging (literally) and all I could picture was the scene from season one of Bridgerton and laugh. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Simon is a suuuuuper starchy Duke and Julianna is Italian and has zero desire to adhere to the stifling rules of the English aristocracy. They have a real Pride and Prejudice thing going and Simon has to undergo a Darcy-esque transformation and do some major groveling to win her back. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Despite their animosity for one another, Simon and Julianna keep finding themselves drawn together. The *tension* is fantastic, and there was a twist I was NOT expecting (although I wish it had been more fully explored by the end). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although I really enjoyed Nick’s book, it was fun to return to London and get to see more of Callie and Gabriel! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ CW: sexual content, parental abandonment ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ID1: The first two books in the Love by Numbers series are standing spine out. The third is facing out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ID2: An image of Daphne Bridgerton in evening gloves with her fists up, having just punched Nigel. via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/Cdda4T_rWUY/
