Can we get a moment of appreciation for this cover? Each of the covers of this series are stunning. After lukewarm feelings about The Heiress Gets a Duke, I was hopeful (and had heard good things) about book two of the series — and my hope wasn’t misplaced. I love a road trip romance, and The Devil and the Heiress by Harper St. George delivered! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Violet plans to escape the marriage of convenience her parents have planned — and she does, by running right into the devil’s arms. I was so delighted to see that the Violet that her sister and parents had discounted in book 1 turned out to be a badass who wanted to forge her own path. Christian and Violet’s dynamic in book 1 was fun and I knew they would have a great back and forth in their own story and they absolutely did!
