Spending this morning reading while I wait for B&N to open so I can go bookstore browsing. I’ve got a gift card from my birthday that’s calling my name. It’s rare that I buy full price books, so I’m excited but also a little overwhelmed! If there’s something I need to look for while I’m there - let me know! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This weekend, I’m reading a little at a time from Devotions by Mary Oliver, another beautiful gift, and I have a NetGalley I need to finish and review. I started Broken Horses by Brandi Carlile yesterday and I’m already invested, but I’m torn because I want to wait for my hold on the audio to come in. What are you reading these days? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are a lot of areas of my life that have felt overwhelming lately, and I’m especially grateful for the escape that books provide. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Rumi said, There is no proof of the soul. But isn’t the return of spring and how it springs up in our hearts a pretty good hint?” ~ Whistling Swans, Mary Oliver via Instagram https://instagr.am/p/COXvjhKLA7h/
